just come in from getting em out and what a TW@T! they were haha and if a ring spanner counts as a spring compressor then yes! luckily everything inside the forks seems to be in order no bent fork rods and no snapped springs
and the spring stops were the nylon washer type
so all was worth it in the end

Good to hear ya had everything in there, My " rebuilt " GP150 from India ( Tradesparesauto on ebay ) had no top nylon stops at all, but going by the engine I should have been ready for missing parts & poor workmanship. Hope it all goes together ok, mines still not registered after a year of doing stuff, hope to get it done soon. Ha !

well the gu i bought mine from supposidly stripped the front end down and replace everything and had sprayed because he wasnt happy with the paint but i dont where he got it from probably india tbh as the crank had been beaten with a hammer to stop the flywheel from fallin off cos it didnt have a wavy washer!
