Hi All, Happy New Year,
Anyway, can ya use a 200cc GP Mag flange on a GP150 block without any problems / modifications? In the bible it says about gas flow problems thru one of the transfers but I'm willing to go on peoples personal experience.
Thanks in advance.

Andy.

Short answer is yes. It will bolt right on.

The transfer problem sticky talks about is due to the shape of the transfer portion of the mag flange. If you want to get technical you'd want to reshape that bit so the fuel doesn't have any obstructions when flowing to the cylinder. Once you put it together it will all be very clear.

I seem to remember reading how some SX and dl 200 were showing up with 150 style mag flanges from the factory. Not ideal but it works.

The only real hang up I've found is when the cylinder skirt bumps the magflange transfer but that's an easy fix with a porting tool.

Thanks for the reply, will slide them together and see if there are any visible issues.

Cheers
