all of a sudden started back firerin changed plug looked in carb any ideas
if you de exelerate then open the throttle does it back fire then?

Water in CDI ? Take the rubber boot off and have a look , if it's wet don't use wd40 just dry it out. Spraying wd40 everywhere can cause shorts too.
my back firing was first a drive side seal faulure air leak, then a carb rattling loose air leak, then an exhaust downpipe crack air leak.
