I am in the process of fitting bolt in bottom buffers in my Gp forks to replace the ones that were in there that had been mullered. I have removed the old ones cleaned of the remains of the spot welds so now my question for you all is;

In what position do i fit the bolt in ones, ie distance back from the end of the fork or even better does anyone have a picture please.

thanks in anticipation :bouncing:

I can`t give you dimensions, but if you put you fork links in place. the buffers are positioned above and below the flats on the links, put the buffers in place. then a bit of guess work as to the exact position of the holes but that should put you in the right area. or of course you could measure / template some one elses li/ sx forks :lol:
When i was young my Mom said "if you haven't got anything nice to say, say nothing at all " ..................... and people wonder why I'm quiet around them !

Thanks for that, have drilled the holes and checked them against my other Gp forks and they seem in the right place :biggrin: :biggrin: :biggrin:
