A Scitsu one just needs one hole drilling in the top, and it bolts through it. The wire from it can be pushed down the back of the rubber seal and to the HT lead.
I've got a Vapor one on mine. It came with a bracket that uses two little bolts to bolt it to the legshields. Other options are available. Some people mount them on the bars.. each to their own. They're also a lot cheaper than the Scitsu ones, and have a back light.
Both are about a ten minute job.
