I heard MB were going to re make the Devtour in mild steel, if so that'd be my choice. If not, then JL3.
Turn On, Tune In, Cop out!
Devtour!

I've only seen one set of comparison dyno graphs for JL3 and Devtour.
At 4,000 rpm JL = 12bhp, D/T = 11bhp
at 5,000 rpm JL = 15, D/T = 16
at 6,000 rpm JL = 23, D/T = 22
JL peaks at 6,500 = 24 bhp
at 7,000 rpm JL = 23, D/T = 26
D/T peaks at 6,800 to 7,200 = 26 bhp
at 8,000 rpm J/L = 16, D/T = 24
at 9,000 rpm J/L is tucked up in bed with mug of cocoa, D/T = 15.
JL4 peaks at around 26.25 bhp at 7,300 but still over 20 bhp at 9000 rpm.
If you want to do the IoW ride out get a JL3, if you want to sit at 75 on the M1 get a JL4, for anything else get a Devtour.
Problem is though that with a different carb or different gearing you could get a whole new series of figures.
Oh and if you don't want to do 9,000 revs why the feck did you buy a TS1.
I rest my case m'lud.
