Assuming you've got the standard 15T front sprocket, I'd be inclined to try a 16T front

17/46 and it's screaming? without doing some research on final ratios etc etc I don't know enough "off the top of my head" on that setup, there's a few on here that will though.
On the face of it though I'd be thinking either, go for 18t front sprocket or would be a bit curious about the LI box, ie how confident are you that its what it says it is?

it probably makes peak torque in 4th at 60mph so might be clutch slip?,how easy does it pull 4th

with that gearing set up at 60 should be purrring not screaming ,let another experienced rider have a go,sounds like clutch slip but you would know of this in the lower gears!Danger wrote:Hi I bought this scooter off my mate an he assures me it's a pacemaker box , as I said before its really revvy at around that speed an above , can't bare the noise of it
I actually had pretty much the same when I built my golden special, so I ditched the expansion pipe and fitted a clubman, removed the pacemaker and fitted a sx200 gearbox with 15 x 46 standard, a lot better ride, no more screaming
