Skipper Forks ??

Anything related to Lambrettas... ask tech questions, post helpful info, or just read and learn.

If...and its a bif IF I set about grafting an auto set of forks into my S2 project ( cutdown mudgaurd ) what are the best set to look out for and the easiest to modify ?. cheers

think you will find most if not all need the stem lengthening

avoid at all costs the generic 50 cc ones .. runner 50 /suzuki zillion(and variants.. think they are showa) as these are usually fooked and sliders will literally rock in the legs .. skipper /nrg /runner 125 better

Cheers for that mate, I`ll keep my eye out. It`ll probably be more hassle that its worth

i used aprilia sr .. mainly because the legs are not so upright as others and looked better.. the draw back though is the yolk is too close with leggies ..and i did have to extend these

ive seen a couple of lammys with paggio zip front ends dont look bad but think youll have to lenthen the stem but thats not a big job

Cheers boys, there`s a couple of breakers by me , I`ll see what they`ve got .
I`lll measure a lammy pair up and go for the most similar length / rake etc. I expect the main tube is longer on a lammy than most autos.
