Just run a knife around the edge then gently ease it apart with a small electrical screwdriver .

I bought a good brand new sx one years ago. (from kettering i think) Just fitted it to my special and the glass came away.
So glued it in with araldite. Then realised i had glued it upside down :shocking: :o doh.

So soaked it in warm water then run the stanley knife round carefully .

id deffo use some heat on it first to soften the adhesive maybe just a hair drier or the oven on a low heat (wear gloves)

i use the clear bathroom silicone to bond them together, and not too permanant to get apart if needed.
