any idea what the tank is off ?? would have said puch or batavus .. you see quite a few old pics of 80's cut downs with that type tank

I,m quite sure they are of a 50cc BSA from the late 60s early 70s i have used them twice they are a perfect fit between the headset and main frame and easily hinged to access you spare, Only downside using them is they cover the key ignition positions on the EFL/DISC PXs so i have got round this by useing a remote ignition i velcro on to the blanked off indicator housing i can then snap off and put in my pocket when i park up. BTW the tanks are normally a blue metallic colour as original not to mention they are a nice shape the way they step down only my opinon but nothing worse than a scooter built around an over sized tank..........
