rear light issues

ive put an old vna rear light on the ts with led bulbs (festoon type)and tbh they p155 poor think its to do with not battery feed
so im wondering with a bit of a fettle could this set up work?

LEDs are poo with an AC feed Joe, I bought a small rectifier from maplin for about £3 and it sorted my brake light out a treat.

Aye kid....... I've only wired mine to brake light though as I've got a normal rear light bulb. I only put the LED in so I could have a better headlight.
If yours is an all in one you may need two rectifiers, one for brake and one for rear.

the rear light in question joey contains two festoon bulbs whuich are both led its the old vna rear light i have a my headlight on the rally headset pal?
