help please ..it may just be me fitted 21t cosa clutch all engages sound... its just fukin noisy on tick over ..so i took the clutch cover off and found there was small side to side play ,,nut is nice and tight could it be the woodruff key or are they just noisy ??????? its banded by the way
It's just how they are, they are pretty crude it's how they can get away with using 2 or 3 different tooth amount clutch drive cogs on the same primary gear ,there will be slight gaps (the gear mesh isn't as precise) if not using the standard one hence the nasty rattle. Bet it goes away and sounds nice when revved up..it's not a problem i ran one like it to high mileages for years, at first i even changed crank and bearings till i found out what it was .

Check the splined teeth on the doodah(technical term!) that compresses the springs , had that myself they wear over time and make a right chattering sound at tickover !!
