Gents,

I need some help. I have trawled through the set ups on here, but can't find any answers. Basically I have a 28mm Dellorto PHBH to go onto my 200 motor with an N.K. Exhaust. The problem is that the carb itself has a Power Jet right beside the Choke Jet. Any ideas what the starting point would be for jetting on this one ???

I have the following :-

AV 264
40 Slide
X7 Needle
50 Pilot
55 Power Jet (I think)

I have no idea if any of this is correct, and never had a carb with a power jet, so I have no idea what size of main jet I need.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Cheers

You could blank the power jet off ! Just put a bolt in it, its m5 i think. then blank each end of where the hose comes out of the float bowl and into the carb body , and jet as a non pj carb .
I've got a phbh with a power jet on an imola , I could give you the getting for that if you want ?

Hi Mark
PJ phbh 30 on an imola with a pm pipe
av268
x4
5.0 slide
132 main
52 pilot
65 choke
30 pj

Ive also got a pj 26mm phbh on a std jet engine , this came off an aprillia RS125 ( i think) and was a four stroke carb, ive converted it to two stroke and blanked the PJ off. The reason i mention this, is just to make sure you know that your one is deffo a two stroke carb ? as if you got it off ebay or second hand it may be a four stroke one off an aprilia or mito etc. ?

I did buy this carb of Ebay, but changed the atomiser bush over to take the AV range. I think this carb was originally on a Honda NSR or something like that.

Fingers crossed ;)

Had the same carb on my lambretta
Got egt and afr gauges on board ~ Just couldn"t get it right
Swapped and changed everything ~ Blanked the pj off and no probs

Tried the camlam powerjet kit to the same carb ~ Also A pig
Powerjet carbs seem to be a on - off thing

A solenoid - type pj that would be a different story
These can be controlled by relays automatically from either egt"s or afr"s
Or manually via a headset switch/button

Regarding these ebay carbs
The majority are 2 stroke carburetors off ~ Nsr"s - Aprillia"s - Caviga Mito"s

Difference is ~ These are set-up for reed-valve 2 strokes not piston ported engines
The atomisers are not compatible
