here my DL125 from 1971. rebuild as a DL200 with original disk brake and Jet200 engine ( SX200 stamped... :D ) Jetex24 and Ancillotti exhaust. This is how I bought it few weeks ago

And now, I have changed the seat by a cutback ( I am not very tall and my arm won't grow to reach the clutch lever :bouncing: ) there a R1 rear shock and paint the rims in grey, with Conti tyres.

The original paint was turquoise, but someone painted it in red and I like it  It looks like the red from DL200.

Nice scooter Bruno. It has character. Is it a French scooter? I only ask because I am curious about the VIN plate beneath the toolbox. Your regulations might be different, but over here that usually means it's Indian.

I thought it was only the late ones that didn't have a number chiselled on the frame?

It's an Italian one for french market. All scooter sold in France have vin plate. Frame number is Ok with the plate. And "cherry on the cake" as we say in France my registration plate : CM 225 DL ! My futur top end is already planed ;-)))

Thanks Bruno. I've always thought that there wasn't much of a market for Lambretta's in France and I'm quite surprised to see a GP. Just goes to show you learn something new every day.

:D Yes I also have a MGB Jubilee '75. Bought last year in Kettering  There's a lot of DL125 in France, usually in turquoise, but already had a white one sold some year ago :freak:
