Right then,
Due to a year of numerous problems with my engine, i am going to do a complete rebuild over the winter.
I am looking for a reliable touring setup, probably a Rapido 225/250.
I am looking for advise on a good setup, carb/gearing.exhaust etc.
I did buy an NK from AF earlier this year & the scooter only did around a 100 miles with this exhaust.
I like the idea of the new MB Big box clubman & may decide to sell the NK.
Any advice appreciatied.

cheers
Spud ;)

I am running LI150 16/46 that is 4.99 gearing works out 10mph - 1000 revs tops out at about 7500 power comes in at 5000 revs, could go to 15/46 5.2 if you want it would make scooter more revy and better on hills . Hope this helps col

For what it worth, my rapido225 with nk and 30mm phbh is spot on. Not as fast as a TS, but great up hills and into the wind. I want a little more out of it, but for a rally tourer it really is great.
