I'm going to give them a go and hopefully get some better springs. I'm in the US (but English :bouncyeng: ) and will hit the bike shops here.

what do the links look like for these forks ?

same as standard except they have a smaller sleeved nylon bush instead of the spring rod ball wells

Thanks Wayne but like many others I can't buy anything from this dealer anymore due to past experiences. Hopefully I'll get something from a motorbike shop or maybe others have some other spring options. :)

Also when you look at all the extra brackets welded on and the springs, it looks like they have tried to solve the handling more at their expense. I see SIL trying to make cut backs on the whole scooter with not using the rear grills etc but having said that they also improved the frame strength.

I've just these Honda ones on ebay 50 Quid!!!! ($80), they are 11 inch so I'll have to move the bracket up a bit which is possible, the orginals were 8 inches.
