I'm sure someone will try and put a 24mm and a clubman on the RB20.............but why kill a race cylinder with a 24mm carb? Its transfers and feeders are conducive to flow......so let it flow! :D

30mm - 35mm is perfect. ;)
:D Not trying to stifle the performance, just was wondering if will do , as been told that the tm24 is as good as a phbh 30 delly, which it is (in my experience albeit on cast barrel).
Anyone know what the jap 2 stroke manufacturers run on there reed valve engines , as in my opinion us scooterists seem to think big is always better........ ;)
Didn't taffspeed used to run a 28mm Amal on there ts1 engines with no real detriment to performance?

Depends what machine you are talking about, but most of the 250 two-stroke motocross bikes (RM250, YZ250 etc) run 38mm Keihin carbs, carbon fibre reeds and juicy expansion chambers.......never seen a competative one with a 24mm and a clubman. :D  :D

Thanks for that shocky, should be ok, going to go down in the van and drop my engine off this week , I think Ian is getting a barrel ready for me ,the biggest shock of the week baz, is that Jordy hasn't gone, not sure why 100% ,but will see next weekend as about 30 of, us including kids ,all spending the weekend camping at Flookburgh haven site, including jordy.

I think your probably right ,ye sticking with the rb for now or until the bailiffs take the house ,the steel lined barel i have now is ok ,it just feels different ,to the first barrel to ride and i temp seized a couple of times ,i think the man who put it together should of change the jetting ,to help with the extra heat ,but he wasn't interested ,so ive lost faith in him ,seams i'm not on my own ,going to horn it out and let someone else have a go with it ,you may see it on ebay ,sound for the right person who can get it set up write ,it just wasn't what i want so feckit it can go. ,so going oldskool with taffspeed .also looking like it may end up water cooled as well
