As per title my Lambretta sounds noisey to me
I'm on about the clattery sound. The tinny higher pitched noise is the seat vibrating.
Could it be piston slap?
Any input welcome.

Difficult to pick out what sound that you are on about. But I've got one lambretta that makes a tinny rattling sound from around the barrel area. And somewhere, I've seen a suggestion that it could be worn piston rings. So sometime this winter I'll take the top end off and check.

Agree difficult to hear what your issue is piston slap occurs when ticking over more, is it a standard exhaust as i thought that sounded a bit loud like it could be blowing ?

Thanks for the replies. It is a standard exhaust. It also feels a bit "juddery" when setting off at low revs, clears when revved.

Near Burnley. There's a guy in Burnley I can take it to and Soley scooters in Rochdale.
I need to decide who to choose.
