looking to fit a front disk brake soon going for scoots r us one what should i buy do i need dampners also .what hub should i get whats the peperpot one too much choice lol thanks

The scootrs version with anti dive is great value and I've had plenty of positive feedback on the ones I've sold. Comes with clamp on bracket for the anti dive and bracket to weld on. Most use the clamp on bracket but I'd recommend using the clamp on bracket to test the best position for the link bar then when you're happy use the weld on bracket for more security. Well worth the £30 or so over the cost of a none anti dive version. Personally I'd still use dampers but I wouldn't use uprated springs in the forks. Anti dive fixing can clash with dampers so I'd fit the kit without dampers then weld on the bracket at the top for the dampers with this in mind. I think scootrs are the only Viet company currently making an anti dive version. PM tuning "pepperpot style" are excellent too but price wise they're far more expensive. Some of the German companies, LTH etc also sell anti dive versions but again they're far more expensive.

Arent properly set up forks/springs better than anti dive? All they do is soften/harden the return of the spring after a bump or whatever? Or am I being daft?

your fork springs have no bearing on how anti dive works .. in use the suspension works as normal and the caliper and carrier is allowed to move free with the suspension and secured via a bushed arm to the fork leg .. only when the front break is applied does the anti dive come into effect as the arm then prevents the suspension from bottoming out

Oh eye...i was tginking of dampers, I shouldnt comment when tired....its been a long week!

well again the dampers only control the rebound of the springs so no effect under braking
