right im looking at replacing all seals and bearings on my t5 this winter but whilst i had the casing aparts i was looking into porting the cases and barrel and fitting either a 26 or 28mm dellorto phbh carb, ive been scouring the web and cant find any info anyone else doing this, as i like the idea of keeping the standard 125 kit and i cant really justify spending loads on a kit atm

Putting a big carb on it's own will do nothing but put your petrol bill up.
The standard carb is fine for 99% of applications.

Casings don't need matching on T5s they are good as is.

speaking to a mate last night that does sprinting and hes reckons that a dellorto phbh carb or similar will provide better throttle response and slightly better top end, surely fuel consumption wouldnt change if i fitted a a 24mm carb in this style as the standard is 24mm
