Mag flange screws

Anyone know where i can get the four screws thast sit flush inside the mag holding the bearing in. I want the ones that are slotted as opposed to allen key/hex as they always seem to cheese up

use a socket like this http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=4mm ... ORM=IDFRIR. Grind the dome off so it gos all the way home n git yaself a 1/4 inch torque wrench like this http://www.wheelies.co.uk/Images/Products/36762.jpg and a 6 inch xtension y'all never round off anotha alen screw,

buy the slotted head screws and they are probaly made out of cheese.
10.8 allen screws are the way to go,not too much loctite on them,so you can get them out ,inevitabely when you have to.

i dont think there is anything wrong with slotted or allen - its about the right tool to insert or more so remove

like muppett said if using the allen/hex type get a socket with the correct size allen head - an allen key even with a handle is no good - the first time i came up against the hex type i tried to undo them with a long allen key with handle and it snapped it - bought the socket and bingo

like wise the slotted screws - if the correct size screw driver is used no problem - again you can buy these in a socket attachment which is even better

i`m not a fan of the impact driver for removal of these screws

have come across both types chewed to f@@k,only way to get them out is to puddle weld a m8 nut to them with a diy mig,the torch is usually small enough to get in to weld,the heat also helps to break the stiktion between the two disimilar metal threads.

Either ither works, but as stated, the right tool for the job.
Using the right size impact bit gets them out first time, make no mistake,but I have reverted back to dot punching for re-fitment. Too hard to get a torch in there to loosen up the loctite to remove them, 'specially if you are doing a quick pull and put on the crank on the side of the road in the rain. A quck blow of the the mole grip on the end of the screwdriver and out they come.
That's not going anywhere...

I just got some slotted ones from scooter restorations, but you can get them from fixing specialists, I must admit I`ve not had a lot of luck undoing allen screw headed ones, even with an allen bit in with a 1/4 drive ratchet handle & extension, I prefer slotted screws.
