Hi Baz
I`m happy with the gearbox/ final drive for now, next step for me is to try the tmx and to get it dynoed.
I think im losing a bit of power and torque with the phbh with it being a round slide and with it being so close to the panel. So the tmx should be better, but not on mpg

i use a top hose from a landrover with a 40mm approx bore its reinforced with fiber so wont split im running a large body 30mm oko (these can be bored to 35mm )its not that good a pic but it gives some usefull extra clearance

We sleep soundly in our beds because rough men stand ready in the night to visit violence on those who would do us harm

Do you have to take the panel off to use the choke?

I'm sure someone will try and put a 24mm and a clubman on the RB20.............but why kill a race cylinder with a 24mm carb? Its transfers and feeders are conducive to flow......so let it flow!bazman wrote:What's anyones thought of a mikuni tm24 for an RB20 then? Runs well on my stage 4 200 but would the RB require considerably bigger?
30mm - 35mm is perfect.
