as title says im looking for a good quality rear tyre for a tuned lambretta...i am currently running a schwalbe 'weatherman' but have heard a few horror stories about these tyres, blow outs/ de-laminating and stuff....i am running split rims with puncture safe, wide rim on rear....looking for a good quality high speed rated ,grippy tyre...any advice would be great thanks

Dunno is the answer you were not looking for! Fitted a 100/90 10 Navigator to my (250) Special 2 years agoand it was splitting all the way around the profile down the centre within a year. Cambrian Tyres (official importer) did not want to know: it was within 6 months of it's '5 year shelf life' despite only 1 year from purchase date: refund value less than 5 quid! (Tossas!)

Got another (to match the front) and it is almost worn-out, with no isues. Navigator now discontinued: am fitting Conti Twists (350 10 and 100/90 10) on my new build. They need a bit more than usual 'sccrubbing-in' but have never seriously let me down. (There were a only couple of 'moments' over the Grossglockner pass on the way back from the Austrian Euro).

Bring back the Zippy 1 and the Dexter!
