Been tinkering round yet again

Had a spare 200 barrel setup and wondered what would happen if a feed was added from the exhaust outlet via drilled holes aligned in the piston skirt ~ Started off with 2 x 2.50mm holes and have now stopped @ 2 x 3.50mm ~ Don"t want to go any bigger as there is strong possibility it will begin to be a pig starting

Can"t say there has been any power increase @ all ~ But egt readings definitely lower @ speed

Anybody else done or know of any information on this " tinkering " ?

this needs clarifying methinks. I always put a couple of holes in the piston skirt either side of the swept exhaust port area to aid cooling.

Is this the same thing?
