I've seen 80W and 120W. I won't be running a battery but will be runnning an Augusto.

They've discontinued the 80w version. Maybe someone would give you a deal on one - not sure? Both work great and you can't go wrong either way.

There are big differences between the 120w and the 80w? i know that 40w 
but i read, i dont remmember where, that generaly we use Ducati 80w regulators (there are 96w ones i think, i dont know if more), and is the same that we use 120w or 80w, because the regulator limit the lights to 80w.
Is this true? or is a stupid thing?

i dont know about electric things.if you want to use the 120w you'll also need to grab a 20a ducati regulator to get the full benefit of the available wattage. otherwise, yes, you'll be limited by whatever the capacity of your regulator may be.
Yes I'm electrical and was thinking the same thing. What does a SIL knock out in Watts.

The regulator will not restrict any power through it, the input and output connectors are common (ie connected together inside the unit). The regulator only plays a part when the load on the stator is reduced (lights turned off) then it must conduct current to earth and dump it as heat in order to maintain 12v. Basically it is acting as a variable load, when the lights aren't using the power the regulator will. The 80w rating is how much power it can dump, so if it was going to be a problem on an 120w stator it would be when all electrical loads were turned off.
20a = 240w capacity or how much of a load it can hold.

80w regs are, I believe, rated at 20A. This is the current that can pass through it to the load before damage occurs. 80W is how much power it can dump to earth.
it's possible, but most of what i see are 10amp
