Please forgive ignorance here, but as I have only run across just a handful of GPs/DLs here is the States, that and the fact that some knucklehead run off with my copy of the Stickys manual, I have a few questions regarding GP forks. I know that the stem on the GP is shorter then other series 3s, but will any of the internal parts (links, springs, rods, top hat, washers) fit? I'm probably gonna order a set from ScootRS and need to know what all the parts are. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The links on the GP are different to the Li. The bowl on the GP links is shallower and uses the rods with separate balls. The bowl on the Li links is deeper to accept the rod with the solid ball. As long as you use the correct rods with either links then I presume that you can use either but the separate ball system on the GP makes it easier to remove the links. Also the GP has push in rubbers as opposed to the bolt in version on the Li.
