Hi all, just trying to find out what people think of Newfren clutch's. I got one for my mates P2 Cosa type, it was shot after about 1500mls, the basket was wrecked, literally grooved beyond belief, we used his genuine piaggio one which had done nearly 50,000mls which had been hardened properly and was unmarked. Today i took a old style P2 clutch out of mine and found it too was made of cheese and was knackered.
Some idea of what peoples experiences of the clutch's would be great.
Cheers...
P2 Clutch.

Hi Gaz, yeah the clutch was in a Newfren box. The plates were ok, just the drive gear was soft and the basket was grooved everywhere after less than 2000 miles. The basket has not been hardened.
