where you have a bit of paint worn through to the metal, just brush paint a little clear laquer over and it won't get worse. i reckon if you cut the bottom of the leggies off and get a new flat section welded on each side of the spine you can repaint the foot board area and keep the original paint higher up undisturbed, gary who works for absolutely scooters in Sheffield would be able to do this without burning away too much originality, once the rubbers are refitted noone will notice the major surgery. i do it this way. looking very sweet by the way, Jet 200's are a kind of niche addiction, bit like one of those sado-mass dungeons, a dark world of seedy need to know addicts all discussing early fiat/ lada colours with knowing nods.... :freak:

Back at work now Paul so its been shelved a fair bit, just trying to do an hour or so on a night or at least until ar lass has done the pots before I lock up for the night.. :D

1 or 2 bits have arrived and will probably get bolted on (dry fit) over the weekend..

are you after a horncast ? looks like a spanish mustard one on ebay in your neck of the woods as well ;)

Gone Russ..was an early type chrome ring jobby, thanks anyway..keep on the lookout for more mate :lol:

And it was here in Hull..got one anyway just not mustard..along with leggys/ front mudguard/ rear runners all not mustard
