Hi all, I'm just finishing of my 1984 PX125 EFL rebuild and I'm about to refit the ignition/Steering lock. Can anyone advise the easiest way to do this job, do the forks have to be out before fitting.

Any help well received.

As long as the tumbler that turns into the fork cut out is still in place then they won't need taking out.The steering lock barrel needs to be able to engage with the tumbler in the bottom of the frame lock tube so align these as it will only go one way and then push the lock into the tube with the thin anti vibe strip to the top and the peg in line with the cut out on the tube. That should be it but it may need a tap to go fully home.Check the key turns the tumbler to lock the forks and releases.

Hi, thanks for the advice, Forks out and lock now back in and not too problematic.

Thanks and all the best,
Chris
