Flywheel/Stator Options?
you can take the pick up off, dremel a couple of laminates off the stator, and replace pick up, makes the pick up sit further back, and you dont have to machine the mag housing. thats if its a late AF light flywheel. mine lined up no problem (late AF flywheel) and its been on a couple of scooters, with different cranks and stators, so it is luck of the draw. mate has one, would run ok on the stand, torqued it up, wouldnt run...doing his head in. he tried the above, runs no bother now.

Agreed. Just be sure to check the clearance and strobe check timing.servetakid wrote:Cheers barry. I have the mid weight one, so I should be safe to run that with the BGM stator? And then use my repaired sil one as a spare?

Ok, I will order a BGM stator tomorrow. And then check clearances/strobe once here. Thanks all.
