36 BHP rusty nail.
That reminds me of mine.... a Very Rusty TV2 in original paint... but I've not quite got as many horses in there as yourself.....but this style of scooter is where its at.....fools many a boy racer....Priceless....

Its the most scootering fun i have ever had and thats for sure. Even my yamaha r6 hasn't even had a look-in, since John had a go at the engine. I never worry about taking it out in foul weather either, unlike my last GP. Its how scootering should be. Chrome stuff and mint paintwork are just a bind. Its the gradual decay by the elements, of a restored scoot, that drives you mad.
I don't want to keep up with modern traffic. I want to hoon past it, preferably on one wheel!
If i could only find a way or removing the red paint and leaving the original white in tact, now that would be great! maybe i could respray it in original white and leave it on a beach for a few months.......If anyone has a full set of panels in original but battered paint, maybe we can talk turkey

Post a pic of your TV2 j1ms. That sounds my kind of scoot......

Were you at mallory on 13 april ?
When i was young my Mom said "if you haven't got anything nice to say, say nothing at all " ..................... and people wonder why I'm quiet around them !
Yes that was i. That was a good run out. Well, it would have been better had i not run out of petrol on the way home

Thanks Eden. Maybe we can start a new craze: 'Barn-find Street Racers'. Its all about the 'go' and 'nothing to do with show'. A quick rub down with brake-fluid, every few months, dulls up that paint-work a treat.
