I need to make a speedo cable about 8-10 inches long. Does anyone know, can they be welded back together? or what other options are there? It's a later series speedo cable, so no funny ends like ser. 1/2.

Big supplier of aftermarket cables and stuff, had a quick google, not showing any speedo cables which was one of their stock items, maybe an email?
Back when I used to work, Tachograph fitters/suppliers made their own cables, so that may be a start although I think new ones are digital, they may still have the kit to swage yours.

I just noticed you are located CDN. Maybe a quick google for places in your region? Mostly for restoring old cars. Same here threw up a few hundred, but I would think it would be more economic to get one where you are.
