Yesterday & today. Riding up the motorway, I hit a hill & it loses 85% power, will not rev, will sit happily in 1st as I trundle along the hard shoulder for 2 minutes, then it picks up again & off I go.

200 stage 4 barrel, 28 mm delly & vw clubman. I've had it dynoed, so its set up fine & its been running for over a month perfectly, thats what's thrown me.
How was it after the hill?
Do you have a fuel filter fitted?

Yeah like I said it picks up & flies off again. No I dont have a filter fitted, well not a pipe filter anyway, just the standard on the carb.

check your carb filter or if you where unlucky like me, i fitted a new rear exit fastflow tap only to find out the rubber in the tap was s**t and was ristrickting the flow . so check fuel flow and make sure your vent in the cap is clear. cheers simon

I filled up last night. Came down the motorway this morning & eased off the throttle a bit & it ran ok.
