I'm after a good kickstart for my series 1

Lately I've had one that was nice looking and the correct shape but had dodgy splines and ruined my shaft, and this Indian thing from cam lam which doesn't deserve to touch my sidecase

Where can I get a strong correctly shaped kickstart from???

original or re made? , I had a couple of Remade Kickstarts for Ser1 + 2 of Buzzsolomoto both good fits well chromed and lasting well one was the one with a longer tab for ser 3 engine fittment to allow clearance at the footboard .
As my Dad used to say "Each to their own lad"

Got a Scootrs one. Chrome is good but the bit that offers up to the crankcase rubber is welded slightly in the wrong position. Its not really noticable and the kick start does look good but im always on the look out for an original at the right price.

I'd like an original, and am keeping my eyes peeled... but I guess more likely is a new remade one.

I see Casa make one, but after the series 3 one I bought a few years ago bent soon after I put it on I am a bit dubious.

If the ScootRS one is like their series 3 ones, they are just a little bit different to original, so I would prefer not to have one... it will be an option though I guess

I ended up getting one from ScootRS - It fits very well and is a really good shape

Time will tell how well it keeps its shape but 10/10 so far!
