so I think you would have to be talking Dyno but as we no all dyno's read different
anyway i think lets all keep safe and stick to 70 -80 GPS which is fast enough

So if you done a ton on a Dyno there is your answer you have a Ton Up scooter
you never going to prove it on a road anyway

Ton up to me means, can the bike in question break the 100 mph "barrier", even for a short time, in good conditions. Good conditions doesn't mean going headlong into a gale with 75 lbs of luggage. Also, if your bike is capable of doing it doesn't mean you'd ride at that speed for miles and miles and hours and hours, or even very often at all. Since all you guys seem to trust is GPS, and GPS receivers vary in quality, computational power, and connectivity which is why onboard GPS receivers aren't legal timing equipment for top speed competitive events, still, I'll use a GPS example. By the way, Laser or radar systems are extremely accurate and measure constantly when activated, not once every second or less like GPS. Try using your GPS in court against a radar or laser speed trap. Ok, where was I? A mate of mine here in Warsaw has an RB250 that Ian Frankland built and has been GPS verified at 150 kph. It's in a full frame TV175 series 3. That's only 10 kph off the ton, or 160 kph. I00 mph is certainly possible, you just need the hp and correct gearing to overcome drag and friction resistance. What would you guys suggest doing to nudge it over the ton?
