is it possible to change the type of bulb in my gp headlamp as the bayonet type one isnt very bright. ive check the erth and all the connections and they are clean and fine so i was wondering it was possible to change the bulb to a halogen one or something else without having to modify the headlamp unit too much

Got one of these - they are very good as a straight fit replacement

Bought one of these a month or two back and it blew on my first ride, not cheap when you include the postage. I haven't taken it up with the dealer, do you think I should?Speed Demon wrote:http://www.scootering.com/news/xenon-light-bulb

Why don't you try the H4 bulb conversion....
Buy the plug from Halfords, wire it in, trim the skirt from the side of the H4 standard car headlamp bulb, away you go....
You will need to have an LED tail light to get enough power to run it though....
