Scooters become a bugger to start and sometimes tries to kick back when kick starting I reckon timing issue. As I have just had the engine out I may have got the m tech unit wiring wrong. Can someone tell mw the correct connections as I m on a rally at mo cheers

its fairly simple.....the red wire from your stator/cdi should be unplugged from the cdi and inserted into the red wire/male connector from the mtech....and the other red wire/female connector from the mtech goes into the red slot on the cdi. The black wires from the mtech are simply earths.

I have one of these fitted to my TS1 and it does seem reluctant to kick off sometimes but then works a treat!
Dont suppose you could have adjusted the setting?
Not M tech expert though

Well sods law it started first kick every time today so whether it was a poor connection somewhere or it just wanted to embarrass me outside a packed boozer. Anyway I ll call it a win. Cheers for the comments
