I seem to remember that there were a whole heap of impatient people on the thread about the SIP speedo saying that they had missed the boat. That's not really true at all - they'll sell plenty even if a few early adopters have sorted out other solutions in the mean time.
One thing that nobody on the scooter scene should moan about is manufacturers taking their time to get a product right (or at the very least doing some thorough testing) before they put it on the market. Haven't we seen enough fall out from rushed-out products in the past to have learned from that? I won't start a list.
Sometimes the glory of being first customer with a new product means that you are first to find a problem. If that's what makes you happy then I suppose it gives you something to moan about while others are enjoying the fruits of the upgraded products when they've fixed all the problems
