TMX Slide no6

Anything related to Lambrettas... ask tech questions, post helpful info, or just read and learn.

Has anyone on here modified the cut out on a TMX no 6 slide so it runs leaner (more air flow)no6 slide being the leanest
any pictures would help.

Yes, I have, but it didn't go well. I removed too much metal. I'll try and remember to take some pictures tomorrow and post them up.

I was using a 58 needle on a tuned TS1 with a JL4, but it was still too rich at 1/4 throttle. After spending ££s trying to modify needles and a slide I gave up and put a Dellorto back on. The Mikuni works great on my RB though.

On my TMX i'm using a 60ael4 needle the same used on Cagiva Mito and no.6 slide.
I finally cured the 1/4-1/2 4 stroking and rich carburation on my TS1 and jolly moto pipe.

You can use the leaner tmx38 needles in the tmx35 ~ Trust me ;)
