When I fitted the AF rims, to ensure the rim is centralised I propped up the scooter so that the wheels were clear of the ground. Then with the nuts tightened up by hand, spun the wheel to check the rim was located centrally. Once happy I torqued the nuts up. Both rims went on with no problems and required no centralising. Lets face it AF wouldn't design them on the back of a fag packet. If they were a flawed design, and that resulted in serious injury or a death then they'd get sued into bankruptcy.

I too had a Rapido barrel rom AF with insuficient clearance even though I'd asked them to check it. However I've also had a lot of good quality stuff from them over the years too! i did yes but tbh id lost faith in them by then and the cranks went to readspead to be straightened yam rod and tig welded the cylinders went to local re borer and had a suzuki ts 250 piston with first oversize and a head reprofile was pretty much sorted after that other rapido was bored to 70mm and had a mahle piston with fat cast rings and a ts1 head again was good as gold ran a 24 mm pwk , with the price of postage etc it really wasnt worth the hassle id rather someone who new what the f@@k they were doing.
looking at it i think they have finally cottoned on to the WWW/forums and HAVE POLISHED UP THERE ACT RE CUSTOMER SERVICE there a little dig in the polish for those who remember
