How much further will a JL3 rev on than a Taffy MK4, fitted to a std tune 225 ts1.

Not much...JL3 makes peak power at 6900...Taffy at 6400
Taffy makes better power up to 6400 then the JL3 will take over for another 1000rpm

Thanks Bofs, so in real world terms, if i gain an extra 1000rpm in 4th with the JL3, running standard sx200 gearing, have you any idea what effect this would have on my top speed? Its got the taffy fitted now and its in its comfort zone at about 60mph ( speed judged using the passing an arctic method), after the comfort zone it may do a further 10mph, tops.
