phil.

Yes, i'd like to know more about that too, as i was thinking of trying on of thier 'cheap' 6 plate cassette clutches?

They have the expensive on here: http://www.afrayspeed.co.uk/index.php?p ... buteID=CLU

And the cheaper one here: http://www.afrayspeed.co.uk/index.php?p ... buteID=CLU

I would have presumed (maybe incorrectly  ) that they both use the same plates and springs and the only difference was the machined parts? Therefore they should both handle similar horsepower....yes/no??? :? :?

Give us more info on the clutch problems....
Yes it's the New AF £200 'Cheap' version that broke on its first test ride (1st Photo on the bench) New engine build, 1st test ride round the block 'steady' and found the clutch slipping. Back on the bench she went and found one of the springs had broke. Please don’t panic and rush to AF in a panic if you have bought one of the £200 versions. Anybody who knows me will tell you, if there is a one in a million defected part on the shelf. I will find it!!! (I'm sure the rest of the New batch are fine  ) So not wanting to gamble on another one of the AF 6 PLATE ROAD CLUTCH 46T 'cheap versions' (I also noticed the advert selling the clutch has been amended "quote" Suitable for engines ranging from an GP125 to an RB25??) I was assured the Road Clutch (new type) would be fine in a higher Bhp engines HHmm Not wanting to gamble I bought the £400 AF RAYSPEED SURFLEX CLUTCH 46T that I have tried and tested in the Monza 'Once bitten twice shy ay'.

I do know a little bit about this barrel, the reason for the ceramic Re-line is that it's been converted to a single exhaust port. 33-34 hp sounds about right.
The question as to weather Darrell can produce the goods or not, the simple answer is yes. Check out the Dyno graph posting area. I can honestly say its the best tuning work I've ever had done and always goes beyond my expectations.

Thank you for that post Chris, I dint want to seem biased with my praises for his work. I’m sure once this Lammy leaves a few people standing his phone will be red hot lol
It pulls away crisp with instant power, and once it hits the power band (Big silly Grin time) Its off and I have to remind myself its only ‘running in’ so back off the power. God knows what it will be like when I take it back to get it Dyno’d!!! But one thing is for sure, it’s the best money I’ve spent .

Forget the prices if he can get 40 bhp out of a barrel he must be gud, im thinking of taking my AF tuned rb 236 barrel to him for some extra bhp, it does just over 80 now so it must be able to get to 90 afterwards even with a lump like me on it!!!
