Best way to cure it is bin it and get a sitoplus/standard exhaust lol, seriously PM are terrible on t5's never seem to get into powerband which seems the problem you're having?

just stick a standard or sito plus on it. its not getting "on the pipe" in 4th. a lad at work has just bought a mint T5 millenium (and i mean mint, 500 mile job) and he wants to change the exhaust. ive asked him whats wrong with the original....."it just looks like a black box".........and there lies the problem, people go for looks over go go power. if you had a little black box that sucked as well as it blowed, and cost you nowt, you"d keep the fucka, no matter what it looked like! ;)

When I had my T5 I bought a PM pipe for it and what a complete waste of money that was. The only way to get to pull in 4th was to rev its tits of in 3rd and maybe with a backwind and down hill I could get it to pull 4th. Ditched the pipe put a 172 kit on it and a sito plus and never looked back

A mate of mine has a similar problem with his T5. He put a shiney stainless right hand sterling on but it will not get on the power in 4th. I had several T5's in years gone by and tried the famous mickeck and leovinci and had the same issues with them unless a kit was fitted.
Does anyone know what a Simonini is like on a T5? Same problem or does it pull better?
