Nord Lock cylinder head?
as above, is it worth using Nord lock washers to tighten your cylinder head? Using them on my wheels at the moment and they seem bob on.The reason I ask is I blew the head gasket coming back from Builth last weekend ( luckily only a few miles from home) so I've got to replace the head and base gasket so is it worth using Nord lock washers, thinking it might be a bit belts and braces, but surely better than just a standard washer, albeit a thick stainless washer or wavy washer.Cheers
I am playing all the right notes, but not necessarily in the right order.
Thank you, I am also using them on my exhaust, found them to be very good so far, lasted longer than the extended brass nuts with locking wire anyway.Do you use them on there own on the cylinder with just the cylinder nut, or with the nut, nord lock and thick washer?

I've just got them on my exhaust stub. Pretty certain they should not be used with any other washers and should just be used on their own because they are in effect two washers mating together anyway.

I do not try to explain why I ride Lambrettas,
For those who understand, no explanation is necessary,
For those who don't, no explantion is possible.
