Picture of my GP before taking part in the Humber Bridge Scooter Record. My sister again all those years later.

On the way home the piston failed so I decided it was time for a full resto/rebuild.

Finally stripped and boxed up ready for paint and powdercoating.

Underneath the number plate the frame was rotten through so a repair plate was sourced and stitched in.

And off to paint it went. Meanwhile I stripped the engine down to bare casing had it vapour blasted and rebuild using most original innocenti parts.

Whilst all this was happening, I received quite a few boxes of beautifully finished items back from the powdercoaters.

Finally collected frame and assorted parts from the painters and the rebuild commenced.

Forks rebuilt eventually after rewelding my hanger bolts.

Lastest snaps of the GP being built in the living room with the pooch lending a paw.

A mate of mine did the welding, he's also a member on here. Wizard with a welding wand!! A neighbour did the vapour blasting he has he own bike company but his not cheap at £280 and by sealing you mean lacquer? no i just wanted the engine minted and cleaned before the rebuild.
