How much of a consideration is cost?
What about one of Rich Taylor's kits?
You could flog off your existing bits to offset the cost a bit.

Funny you should say that but, i have a Rich T ignition but i dont have time to make up the wiring loom and alter the mag housing etc. I have another baby on the way, so i am itching to get on the road this year, before i am up to my arse in nappies and chonder.

The plan was to fit a big MB head and go scoop cooled, but that would mean missing another rally season, waiting for stuff to be machined etc. I will do that next over the next winter. I can cope with a bit of soldering in the mean time........

Yes but to get the most out of it, it really needs a Zeeltronic USB programable (or similar) cdi unit, as the map in the Cdi is for the Aprillia which revs out to 12k and has a power valve etc. A very different animal to a TS1. It would take loads of dyno work to sort, i reckon (having spoken to Alan at Diablo about it). Also the pic-up is external and i feel it would need a dust cover, to be reliable enough for road use, something like the DAC motors have, which is more or less the same inside.
