Hi,
I may have a chance to get a T5 Mk1 and would like to know what colours were available from new in 1985. This one apparently is green - not sure if that was a standard colour or not.
I haven't seen it yet but hope to in the next few days.
Cheers
Simon

I think the initial batch was only in red. They also came in charcoal grey metallic and white but I think that was later. Do not remember green.
My brother had a D plate in charcoal from new in 86

The charcoal grey was known as Anthracite (had a new one in 89) but at that time silver was also an option (as well as the white and red) I think but never saw many of these around.
In the early 90s you could get them in metallic blue and a metallic bergundy colour for a while. The blue was quite nice.

Hi all,
Thanks for the replies on the T5 paint colours. Even though the scoot is green at the moment, it was originally blue so I am told. It is F registration which is about 1988. I still haven't seen it but it is all there and running with V5 etc. How much are these T5's worth now complete and running?
Many thanks
Simon

had a few brand new T5's. the only colour available in 86 was red. the next colours were white and metallic black, probably autumn 87 E reg, then they started doing metallic red and metallic aquamarine, possibly silver as well. the last T5s may have had colour options of yellow and a weird blue colour in around 1990. my first purchase was either red,red or i could have red with the first aftermarket accessory from launch....white wheel discs at 35.00!!!. i could have just sprayed my grey ones but i traded those in for white, what a muppet with 35.00 to p155 away.(and i was earning 90 quid a week. duh)
