Ser. 1 speedo, help needed.

Hi, I have upgraded to a TS1 and have a indian speedo from a friend to replace the 150 speedo in it. He says that the part the rubber seal fits on (holds the lens to the Speedo body) is thicker and will not fit right. I haven't gotten it yet as it's in the mail. What can I do to make this fit? Anyone else had this problem before?

I had to do this when I wanted a standard looking 90mph speedo in my Series 1. Think I ended up canabalising both speedos to get one that fitted ok.
Also the Indian speedo has a different thread size to an italian so you cant use an italian speedo cable.

Thanks, I thought about that last night, wondering if I could switch out the bodies so it would fit better. I have a couple speedo cables around, probably not the one I need!!! that's usually how it goes!
