Fitted complete new front end to a 07 PX .

Steering lock worked before the strip but not now ??

The key does not turn to the far left lock position it appears to have 2 turns clockwise only?
What have i failed to do or missed, reverse mechanics suggests human error as all parts are brand new

Thanks

phil

Presumably the ignition switch still works and the scoot will start? If not remove the ignition switch inside the horn stem and look in the tube .There should be the block that turns with the key lock which revolves into the fork cut out.If it is not there then the forks need to come out again to replace or if it is there then maybe the forks are not sat correctly ie the lower bearings are on the wrong way? The other thing is the forks are not turning to the left enough for the barrel to turn into the fork notch and if this is the case the forks need to come out again and the stop needs filing a few mm to allow them to turn enough.
