hi, currently running indian gp 200 gearing with 18x47 sprockets, ancillotti exhaust & 30mm phbh carb on my ts 225.just wondered if changing the rear sprocket to a 46 would give me any advantage ? it seems to pull well with this set up but seems to 'rev out' quite soon thanks for any input. db67 :)

I dont really understand all the gearing technology but, I run a 19/46 with a GP200 gearbox and find it pulls lovely. I used to have the SX200 gearing with a 15/46 and the gap between 3rd and 4th gear was too much and I was forever changing down to 3rd at the slightest incline or headwind.

Plus....I'm using a Franspeed Racepipe and a Mikuni 35....so might be completely different to yours....

Just ignore my ramblings....lol.... :?

thanks for the reply bizzly, used to run 19x47 with the gp box & a jl 3 with a 35 tmx,it ran well with this set up but decided at the end of last year i needed to be a bit more frugal oil/petrol wise ! ( i know, not easy with a ts !! :? ) thanks again mate, will keep at it ! ;) db67
